Atmospheric enviroment
Casual enjoyment at the terrace, both in the summer as the winter. The terrace of Otterlo and surrounding areas where you can have a great time through the whole year. We also have a cozy restaurant where you can warm up after a walk through the nature of Otterlo. De Waldhoorn is in every season the ideal base for young and old.
Veluwe Tips
Discover the hoge veluwe! This huge protected natural area keeps suprising you, every season has its charms. From the most beautiful colors in the autumn to a purple heather in full bloom in August. Walking on the sand drifts, through thick forest and along beautiful lakes. The nature has free rein on the Veluwe. The famous Big Five like the red deer, wild boar and fox are given plenty of space here.
De Waldhoorn organizes its own wildlife toures guided by our Veluwe guide. She sets out walking and cycling routes, and she knows where the most beautiful spots of the Veluwe are. She also sets out the 7 Hap & Trap routes , passing along many good tips. This is a complete day out at the Veluwe. Discover the Veluwe and its many known sights like: Nationaal Park de Hoge Veluwe, Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, Kröller-Möller Museum, Natuurcentrum de Veluwe and Radio kootwijk.
